Welcome to this weeks Dance! Dance! Dance! This week we celebrate the improvisation skills of two of the world’s giants of jazz, bringing together the disciplines of jazz saxophonist John Coltrane and the tap dance skills of the indomitable Graham Marshall. So it gives us great pleasure to introduce this rare recording of the seminal collaborative work, which received world acclaim when it was first performed at the 1997 Montréal Jazz Expo.

It was really great to hear the old recording again, it took me right back. My girlfriend found the whole thing very moving, she was just sat there weeping quietly through the whole thing.
